Re: Pricing?
It would be $75 and that includes the price of the jewelry. It is usually done with a 14 gauge ring. And as long as you use protection,, you will be fine. Its just swapping fluids with a fresh piercing isn't good.

Re: Pricing?
An orbital is going to be $40, with a 14gauge steel ring. Two lobe piercings would be $35 with 14 gauge steel ring or smaller. To go bigger gauge to start with will be more. And you can stretch a cartilidge piercing traditionally with tapers. It will just go very slow. If you are planning on staying under an 8 gauge then yeah you can do the stretching traditionally with tapers. If you want to go above an 8 gauge or you don't already have a piercing it would be wise to just get pierced at a higher gauge. The price for a cartlidge piercing at 8 gauge with an 8 gauge steel ring would be $40 or $55 depending on where on your cartlidge your getting it. If you are getting your conch pierced it would be the $55. If you are doing just the one on the outside helix, or curl it would be the $40. If you have anymore questions just feel free to ask. But I hope that helped you out a little.

Re: Pricing?
I was planning on getting just 2 normal lobe piercing (like at claires lol) just wanted to get it done all at the same place/time do u use a gun or do it by hand ?
with the orbital it would be a 14g and i wanted to figure out it it was cheaper to do it seperate or as an orbital i have heard its easier to let it heal a lil bit before putting a single ring in the 2 holes and less painful
would i have to buy rings or could u use ones i already have coz i have more than i will ever need already along with the earrings they use when peircing the lobes
sry i have too many questions and most likely confused u u can always get into contact with me directly if thats easier
Thanks nyxie

Re: Pricing?
Piercings are done with a single use needle. We don't use piercing guns because it causes too much trauma to the tissue. It would be cheaper to get it done as an orbital, and orbitals heal when there done all at once. Like all piercings you will just have to take care of it, keep it clean, and leave it alone. I can't say that we can use your jewelry, for the fact I don't know what quality it is. So you can bring it in and let us have a look at it, but if its not quality jewelry then you will have to buy our jewelry. You don't want to put cheap jewelry into a fresh piercing, it causes more damage than good. I hope I answered all your questions if you have anymore just ask. Have a good weekend.

Re: Pricing?
Hope all is well. I'm interested in getting a labret piercing and have a couple questions... I know the shaft of the stud (heheh) has to be long to accomodate initial swelling, but can the part of the stud that shows, the ball or jewel, be very small initially? I'm looking for a higher gauge hole (16 or 18) with a tiny stone (1.5mm). I ask because my only other piercing was my ears in the late 70's where they do it with the big, honkin stud that you have to wear for 6 weeks until you can change it. I want this to be real low key from the get go if possible. Is it a good idea to come in beforehand to see if my mouth structure will work ok with the piercing? And, you know, since we're in the pricing forum and all - how much is it? Thanks for putting up this forum, by the way - it's nice to have a way to ask questions before getting anything done. ~jenn

Re: Pricing?
Ok so the price of a labret piercing is $45 and that includes the jewelry. The jewelry would be longer like you said to account for the swelling. Jeweled balls aren't used for the initial piercing cuz they collect germies and whatnot. So it would just be a steel ball, and there not honking balls so you would be ok. And then in 6-8 weeks you could put on the jeweled ball. But it would be the first 2 months you would have just the boring steel ball while its healing. But you can get it shortened at 2 weeks. So you don't have so much sticking out on ya. If you have any other questions feel free to ask or you can give us a call too at the studio. Have a good one.
