Monroe Piercing
I am interested in getting a Monroe piercing tomorrow after I get my tattoo. I am just wondering how much that will cost, what sort of jewelry you put in for it and how long it will take to heal. I know price questions must get annoying, but don't worry I'm not shopping around. I just want to know if it will be something I can afford to get while I am out there this trip or if it will have to wait.
Thanks!

Re: Monroe Piercing
A monroe would come out to $45 I think (not at the studio yet). We start it with a basic labret stud that you would want to downsize in a few weeks from the long one we put in to accomadate swelling.
Typical healing times ar 6-8 weeks like other oral piercings, tho you probably wont notice the redness going away from the outside of the piercing until you downsize the jewelry.

Re: Monroe Piercing
Oh excellent. I will actually be back in town next month to bring someone else to get their tattoo so I would be able to get the jewelry switched then too. Great! I will most likely be getting that done. See you then!

Re: Monroe Piercing
I guess I'll stick this on here. Thanks for everything this past weekend. You guys were amazing!
I just have a few questions about piercing jewelry Linda had mentioned. She said something about posts that are higher in quality that you would be able to custom order and also that I could just buy replacement balls for. I guess I was in a post tattoo and piercing haze because I forgot to ask more about it before I left.
How much would that cost? Would I be able to see options somewhere online? (Don't worry I know your prices might differ from online prices.)
Thanks a bunch. I appreciate it.
Oh! Also. I should have bought 2 of those mouthwashes becuase I am already halfway through my bottle. What other mouthwashed can I use? Is Act good or is there a place I can buy the other Tech 2000 wash? I don't live close by at all or I would just stop back in to get more from you.
Soaks are going well and it actually hasn't swelled at all. It looks great!

Re: Monroe Piercing
To check out some jewelry options from the best jewelry manufacture on earth :
Industrial Strength
For mouthwash, you can use Biotene or the new antimicrobial mouthwash from Crest.

Re: Monroe Piercing
I looked on that website and I saw a few things that I liked. I am interested in the Stainless Steel Flat Back Low Profile Labret. I like the SM ruby color and I would be interested in getting an additional CZ ball. I'm not sure what size or length it would need though.
Also I was hoping to be able to price compare between that and the 18 K gold flat back labret and an 18K gold gem ball.
Thank for all the great info. Sorry for pestering you with questions.
