Question about Timing
As related to healing time:
what's the general opinion about the easier place to heal, as i have three situations to choose from in terms of making my appointment:
1. should i get it done during the summer? i work every weekday 8-530 in an office building. would the public bathroom issue make it really difficult to properly clean and moisturize?
2. should i get it done in the fall? i'll be living in a dorm, again with the bathroom situation, but a much different setting for it.
3. should i get it done on a break so that it can heal at home, even though my parents really hate tattoos and made me take out my navel piercing last year?
i'm leaning towards doing it in the fall, with the only issue being i don't take my car with me to Baltimore...
thanks

Re: Question about Timing
all areas pretty much heal at the same rate depending on the person. If you're getting your feet tattooed it should be at a time of year that you can go without shoes for at least 5 days to a week.
The average healing time for any tattoo is a week to two weeks.

Re: Question about Timing
i think what i'm going to do is try to schedule for the end of a break so i can get the first two (messiest?) days of healing and cleaning done at home, then continue at school
i'll be in tonight, probably between 7 and 8, and am really excited!
