few quick questions!
So, I'm thinking about getting a tattoo [well actually two]
and I want them on my hips.. like not right on them but in that area, i have been told that this is a very painful place to get a tattoo by some and that it's not that bad by others, and yes i know that it depends on my pain tolerance, and I can tell you that I have a pretty high pain tolerence for as tiny as i am [5'0, 100lbs] and I have been set on this tattoo idea for a good while now.
I want to get nautical stars [red & black] in that area.
And as far as pain I've peirced my monroe twice and my lip once [but i didnt have the correct jewlery at the time so i couldn't leave it in] and those didnt hurt at all. and i've tried some pretty painful things that would be painful to normal people and not found them painful at all. SO! Here's my questions.
1. Given the information, how painful would you say the tattoo i want in the place that i want it would be on a scale of 1-10?
2. Pricing? Nothing exact just a guesstimate! A round about.
3. About how long would it take to heal?
I'm sorry for all the questions.
I'm just curious. And am new to the whole peircing/tattoing thing.
Thank you!

Re: few quick questions!
Well, any tattoo is painful, there is no such thing as a painless tattoo. Everyone's threshold for pain is different so the only way to find out if that's a painful area is do it.
Princing a tattoo without a finished design or image is always dificult. We can give you a ball park figure, but until the design of the tattoo is finished it's hard to say. As a very very rough estimate I would say depending on size and how well you sit, anywhere from $75 per star to $100 per star.
Healing is different for everyone and for different size tattoos, it can heal completely in 5 days to a week, or take the full 2 weeks.
Hope this has answered all your questions. Feel free to stop into the studio and look around at our portfolios, ask any questions you like and get a feel for the place.
Peace out!
