American? Muslims
Lately I've seen a number of ads on TV proclaiming the person in the picture is an American Muslim. Then the next person proclaims the same thing, all geared in an effort from The American Muslim Association to put their faith in a better light.
That is all fine and good, and I doubt if there is any one alive who doesn't feel there are very fine and good Muslims living among us here in this country. One would have to be a fool to not realize that.
But at the same time, one would also have to be a fool not to realize it is the Muslim faith at this time in history, that is breeding fanatics who will die in order to blow up and kill innocent people at an alarming rate. Even American Muslims.
Here in this recent news article highlighting that fact, another American Muslim has turned against his country in favor of his religion. Of course the murdering terrorists of 9/11 were also living among us too, and we should not forget that fact either. As the article states:"Abu Ali made contacts with al-Qaida members between September 2002 and June 2003 and received training in the use of hand grenades and other weapons and explosives, as well as in document forgery, according to the indictment. It said he discussed an assassination attempt with at least two other conspirators, one of whom gave him the religious blessing."
You should know the assassination attempt the story's referencing is this American Muslim man's willingness to try and kill President Bush. A Muslim from Virginia and one born in Texas. An American terrorist caught in Saudi Arabia. A Muslim who wanted to go to Afghanistan and kill other Americans too.
If you read the news much lately (or here), you probably already know many illegal Muslims are slipping across our southern border all the time and it's become a growing threat to our security. Do we need any more risks? Or how do we tell the good Muslim from the bad? I'm not sure all of us are ready to give up our own freedoms so we can ensure those among us can live in peace here and ensure our own safety.
Now I'm not instructing anyone reading this to hate Muslims in our country, or to persecute them. But I am wondering though if we are safe allowing more Muslims to immigrate here. I also wonder what we can do about the problem to ensure people here don't start getting blown to bits like they are doing in Israel all the time. It seems obvious in conclusion, we would have to be better off limiting their number. What other alternative do we have?
