Don't mess with Swift Boat

I think the Bush camp should stay silent on this indefinitely. This is no place for them to be. If they get involved, it will only hurt them. I also believe that civilians have little or no place to criticize his time in the service. Once he is out and becomes a politician, it is fair game. However, these guys that are bringing these accusations are quite credible in the fact that they were there. More credibility is lent because Kerry opened himself up by using thier images without thier permission.

I feel, as I suspect most of you do, that veterans for the most part are agnostic on this issue because they don't want to drag up a dark part of thier past. My grandfather was a veteran and never talked about wars he was in, and in fact didn't talk about war at all. But there is also an overwelming pride among veterans exemplified by the many clubs and associations that they keep with each other. i.e. VFW and POWMIA.

I would guess that it took a whole lot to get these guys wriled up enough to bring this to light like they have. To be honest, I could care less about Kerry's service because I already know what a small man he is.

On Colin Farrel's show one night, he had on one of these brainless, left-wing, Sharpton-praising, self-victimizing, black comedians. This guy said that the most important reason he was voting for Kerry is the fact that he fought in a war and the president didn't. It upset me so much, I turned it off. What does fighting in a war have any-damn-thing to do with being a politician as so eliquently epitomized by Mr. Kerry's recent examples of cowardice by way of not standing up for..... anything. I wish a hard-core democrat would sit down and really think about what John Kerry stands for. What are his convictions? That was sadly a retorical question.

He stood up at his own convention, which was over 90 percent anti-war and saluted saying, "John Kerry reporting for duty."

What a fraud. What a fraudulent party. What a fradulent ideology.

What a well written post and welcome to the forum here "djeepp". emoticon

Is that your site or someone elses? It looks real good. emoticon I tried posting top news stories on my site for several months but finally gave it up. It took way too much time reading the worlds news sources for a non-profit site like this one, (and with low readership).

Hope you keep posting, we need people like you here.

Thanks,

"Consevative" emoticon

Thank you for the welcome Conservative. I am on a few different post sites and tend to like the smaller ones a little better. I think they are more personal.

The "Museum of left wing lunacy" is not my site. I am promoting it because I like it. It's one of those all encompasing websites. Not to mention the humor. Especially in times like these when being a conservative is often hard on the soul.

Anyway, look forward to posting more and look forward to the responses I get.

I only hope you get some besides me. Me--I'm always here. If you know any one else who might find a home here, let them know. Thanks!

Oh! You have it wrong! John didn't say:

quote:

He stood up at his own convention, which was over 90 percent anti-war and saluted saying, "John Kerry reporting for duty."

He said:

"I'm John Kerry, and I'm a poopie doodie."

Much more accurate if ya ask me... emoticon

I say, if Kerry can go there, then he is fair game. Kerry has gone there plenty of times, and now that a few vets, on their own, byt the way, decide to expose the truth, Kerrys camp is all bent out of shape, and filing lawsuits to have them prevented from being aired. Gee..... musta struck a cord, don't ya think? Whats important is not bringing it up, its their reaction that tells all. Based on that I'd say Kerry has something to hide, and thats a red flag.
