Bass Pro - Possible Sponsor

The deal hasn't been signed yet but Joe was talking to George at Bass Pro. George is lining up some items for the cookout after the tournament - possibly a fryer, oil, and batter.

Remember Bass Pro when you're looking to add a few new walleye lures to your collections.

George is looking for some volunteers to help run a fishing tank this spring during one of the special events. Let Joe Matt know if you are interested in volunteering - possibly a Friday, Saturday, Sunday thing. No, you wouldn't have to be there every day. And it's a great excuse to go lure hunting.

I think the walleye tournment is a great idea but think the 3fish limit should be changed to 6 with two or three fishermen in a boat at lease a boater/ partner limit of 6 fish would put alittle more contest to it and it would add alot more fish for the fish fry

You can keep 3 fish per person. The limit on the weigh-in is 3 per boat. This makes each boat work as a team and if one boat is on fish they won't take all of the top 3 slots - thus more competition.

The main reason for this tournament is to have fun. Reason 2 is to get some new people interested in our club. reason 3 is to eat fish. Reason 4 is to have a good excuse to get out of the house before Bass season starts. Reason 5 is to have bragging rights and a little cash to back it up.

I think we'll stick to weighing in 3 fish, but you can keep up to 3 per person.

Remember if you are a boater without any non-boaters or if you are a non-boater without a boater post here or drop Steve Albro an e-mail I will try to pair you up. (Boaters have first right of refusal - we don't want anyone thrown overboard. Non-boaters have 2nd right of refusal - we don't want anyone jumping ship either.) emoticon emoticon emoticon

Money is where the "fun" part comes in.

$10 or $15 bucks a man is less than a Lucky Craft lure. For Andy Warholic it's only one days worth of "dip".

We thought about making it less but couldn't figure out how to divide it up. :-)
