My departure
Well boys...I accepted a job offer in Ft Worth TX and will be moving the first week of December. I plan on coming to the November meeting to say goodbye to everyone.
I'll be sure and post pics of my first double digit fish!

It's been a long time coming. At least you won't have to shovel snow down there.... but you should try to dodge the Hurricanes, Tornadoes and hail.
Do they have water in Texas?

Darren,
Don't be too fooled by those double digit fish you hear about down south....you WILL get one OCCASIONALLY, but most of what you get will be alot smaller than what you've been catching up here in good 'ol CNY! Best of luck!

I've been to Texas and everything that I saw was pretty flat, hot and dry. Of course I hear it is a fairly good sized place.... so maybe I missed something.

Todays my last day in NY. Loading the boat up this afternoon and heading out, hopefully staying away from the falling white stuff. It was good fishing with you all and I know i'll miss it up here. Who knows where I'll end up some day!

Get ready for winter in the south...After I talked to you the other day I got fish swimming a jig and on a buzzbait. 80 degrees in December rocks!
Oddly enough, I'm headed up on Christmas to go ice fishing and skiing. nice when you can choose when to freeze
