Mike Bednarski - with "small" Sturgeon
Mike just sent me this picture - with these comments.
Here's a pic of what I'm working with down here. A small adult Atlantic Sturgeon, 52 lbs and about 5 feet long (I'm 6'2'). Our biggest captured fish through the course of the project has been 285, but this fish represents the first fish captured via net as far up the river as we have fished (180 miles from the ocean).

Good ol Mike and his crazy fish! He sent me a pic of a shark a while back that they caught in the river where he works. Its so close to the ocean that they swim up...interesting work...compared to sitting at a desk all day anyways...
