Re: Hair =)
I change my style, including my hairstyle, frequently.
Right now I suppose I have an Arthur (winkwink), pageboy/moppish look. NOT a bowlcut.
Some people are born with good hair and others need to work at it... My advice is to...
1. Arm yourself with hair dryers, straighteners, boarbristle brushes (long bristles not short unless you have thin hair), and metal or at least a very strong plastic comb.
2. Learn to cut your own hair or at least trim it because there's no point in shelling out a good amount of money when you could do a bit of it yourself. It's also a fair idea to let a trusted friend or family number cut your hair, especially if they're an aspiring stylist or going to cosmetology school. They get practise and you get a free haircut (admittedly with some risk).
3. Products are love. If you regularly use dryers/straighteners it's a good idea to get "mists" or creams that protect your hair from heat damage. A light hairspray is good to seal a sleek or "flat" look, such as "bowlcuts" as you've put it, but you need cheap heavy-duty stuff (like Aquanet, Rave, etc.) for updos and teased hair.
I'm sure I could think of other things but let's leave it at that...

Re: Hair =)
There was once a time where I wouldn't leave the house unless my hair was backcombed nearly a foot off my head. ...

Re: Hair =)
my hair is just naturally fantastic. well the black is not natural, but yeah
my tips/routines:
change shampoo and conditioner brands frequently, or else your hair will get use to it and not respond as well.
haaha, no, really i just buy the stuff thats on sale tbh.
YOUR STRAIGHTNERS ARE YOUR BEST FRIEND.
make sure to get the best smelling hairspray, it will attract beautiful boys to your hair..
errm maybe some more later, if you have specific questions, queries, comments, my sister is a hairdresser so ask me and i will ask her

Re: Hair =)
I'm never happy with the way my hair looks and change the style and colour quite frequently.
It's currently a bob and red-brown colour but getting it cut again soon.

AQUANET AND RAVE (in the blue can; I think the strongest is "four.) Nasty, cheap stuff but it works like cement.
