12/3/05 Schmedley's show with Bill Carleton
Well, I have to say, it was a great show. Not only did we play 14 of our 15 current songs, but we busted out a few new ones (Verse Chorus Verse, Something to Believe In, and the cover Voices Carry). Schmedley's is always a blast, the room is so small that it feels packed every time, and there is a great energy. We saw some repeat offenders as well as some new faces - thanks to regulars (Phyllis Juber, Rebecca Auger, Phil and Kristen Stevens, and others that I'm sure I missed).
Those that didn't stick around to see the Bill Carleton Trio missed a phenomenal performance. Great original songs that had a lot of heart and rocked. Excellent musicians and nice guys, I'm looking forward to seeing these guys again.
We're working on 2006 gigs as I speak, looks like the next show will probably be at Toad's Place with Big Shot.
Jim and his infamous e-mails will keep those on the mailing list up to date and entertained.
