Columbus Weekend Finds
I finally got out detecting this past Sunday. Danced between the raindrops at Sea Bright. Was there about four hours and ended uo with $4.62 in clad and a large, heavy sterling? silver earing.
Made one mistake. Thought I could walk on water and jumped off the 4 foot cut and got soaked just as I was about to head back to the car to get the hip boots. At least the water was warm. Had I made it into the surf, I know I would have done a lot better as the coins were literally falling out of the cliff.

Re: Columbus Weekend Finds
Joe,
Let the season begin! I sure am looking forward to hitting the beach again this year with you and boys.
By the way, what a strange coincidence, I lost a heavy sterling ring at Sea Bright do you think it could be....? Ha ha - turnaround is fair play.
