Treasure found in change....
Deep Searchers,
I went to the post office this morning to mail a package. I paid in bills and the postman gave me a handful of coins in change. As I walked out I looked at the coins in my hand and to my SURPRISE a 1955 quarter. I guess treasure is where you find it.

Re: Treasure found in change....
Way to go Mike ! ! ! !
Isn't it amazing how the postman either doesn't care one bit at all about what coins he handles day to day or perhaps he was too busy to pay close attention to the coins he was giving out in change when he may have usually pocketed something that rare these days himself.
It just goes to show it still pays to pay attention to the coins we receive in change. I'm still hoping to find a 1950 - D (Denver) Jefferson Nickel in change someday as that sucker is worth a couple of bucks (maybe $6.00 or so) and compared to Silver coins there are less folks saving old Jefferson Nickels.
Again, congratulations ---Joe T.
