Right Conditions/Wrong Luck
Met up with webmaster Mike at Brick township beach after some heavy erosion. Despite the loss of sand and the turn around to a northwest wind, I only found a quarter and ended up getting hit by a wave that broke into the top of my hip waders despite the fact I was only in ankle deep water.
I dried off and headed up to Sea Bright and while there were many more targets, nothing was memorable except for a crematorium tag that I originally thought was an old beach badge. I was finding lead and a few nickels but no gold or silver. Very disappointing.

but a beautiful day!
I didn't get to hunt much this summer due to all my other committments. I was thrilled to be out on the beach in the sun. Wonderful! Hopefully the good stuff next time.
