Finds from Thursday Oct 27
Played hookey and went to Sea Bright from 10 AM to 1 PM. The conditions were right and the Northwest wind was keeping the water off the beach. I was finding those musketballs/grapeshot/canister shot or whatever they are and some 30 cal. bullets but other than that and about $1.00 in clad/nickels/pennies nothing else and the hits were few and far between. I ran into fellow club member Joe Torrence who got there earlier than me but he seemed to have been doing even worse than I did.
The front page of the Star Ledger had a picture of beach erosion at Bay Head and I swear it's Carlo detecting in the background.
