 School Funding in Oregon
Is there anyone out there that feels that Measure 5 needs to be repealed? Our schools and other social programs have been going down hill ever since 1990. How many people need to die before we become socially responsible?

A group called moveon.com is promoting contacting congressmen etc to state position on needing more funding for schools and teachers.
This of course, is only one of several groups lobbying for better school funding. It is taking one particular approach.
Their approach is not the only solution.
But I agree, something needs to happen and quickly.
Teachers need more job security than they currently have. It's a bit of a scary profession to be in right now (from a strictly financial point of view)
