This is not allowed at school. Our district has a strict "no chat" policy. But.. it sure works great at home. A program called SKYPE. You can use microphones and talk live to your friends and family. You can chat with your fingers like MSN or ICQ too. .. and the audio seems to work better than MSN or ICQ's audio.
We just started using it for chatting with family.
