(editors note: I no longer teach at Ione and notice that many of the sub pages from the main web page no longer connect to valid pages.. I am not sure what they did with the files.. it embarrasses me that they made much so non-functional after I left.. I had had some word of reassurance that that wouldn't happen.. but oh well.. it is out of my control at this point.. )

I checked it out...you sure teach a lot.!
I noticed you teach Cumputer Aplications course. (what we call CAT at our school) It's a grade 10 course, right?
I take it even though im in 9. However, your assignments look far more interesting thatn what we do. But we get our tails worked off. We have like 2 assignments due at the end of every class, everyday But, I like it. Kinda easy since I spend lots of time on the net.
well, looks like a cool school
anyhow......i think my point was to ask you about the use of email on the computers at your school. If I am correct you are the comp. admin there... Well, how do you find out if students have been on their own personal email.....hotmail. Do you go through each persons files, or is there an easier way?

It is district policy here that no one (not students or teachers) are supposed to access hotmail on a school computer. All the juniors and seniors have school email and any freshmen or sophomore who have my classes also get to have school email. Our district comp. admin is the one who usually goes in to see if anyone has been at a site they are not supposed to go into. I don't really have time to do that kind of monitoring.

Hope that answers your question.

My computer apps class is open to 9-12th grade -- anyone who can fit it into their schedule. But you're right, I do have mostly sophomores in there.

wow......that would be neat if everyone at my school were able to have school email
I was just asking because our comp. teacher claims she looks through everyones files.....probabl a lie to keep us from going to email, and private inernet usage. Because I have done that for months and I have not got caught. She is a bit nutty though...she waters the floor......
