Re: How are you doing?
I have nothing on M/M love but I think is too much for me, so I can imagine the feeling, Deni.
Actually, as of now, I'm fighting the flu. I get better then I'm thrown to bed lifeless fashion, and so on, that's how I spent yesterday. I have slept my morning away and now I feel better, but my throat is aching still. I ordered my body to stay healty and it will have to obey
You see, I'm a strong believer in mind control.
How is the Spanish coming? I hope I didn't worked you too hard with the last "lesson", I just got inspired and carried away lol...
Have I told you how inspiring I find what you are doing?!

Re: How are you doing?
You know, I just learnt that my college in Italy has a new requirement: French
I have been talking with Nardi (that's the nickname for Vanessa, her last name is Nardulli) and we want to see a few lessons, even if we don't learn much just have a basic notion. I'll try to stretch my time even more, since is a little complicated already plus I don't have a car yet!
My dad promised me one but he isn't convinced by my driving skills
I mean the other day we were going out, I took the car and he made me switch places with him after one block and a half, ONE BLOCK! How am I suppose to get experienced if I never practice? Besides, it wasn't that bad, he just is a control freak extraordinaire.
It would be so cool and helpful having a support system here for gals learning French, or any language for that matter. That is the main reason why I love languages, is the most effective way of studing a country and its culture through new ways to express yourself.
Concerning my flu I thought I was doing better but today I sound like a soundtrack of a thunder storm. My strategy is to keep on and about to fight it back, I won't let it run me over.
I rarely get sick, I'm the worse getting sick since I can't take being subjected to it. I don't even remember when was the last time I got the flu...
By the way, Lolo, guess what I dreamt last night? That I went to mass! It was so peaceful. I guess it's reflecting the fact I'm feeling guilty

Re: How are you doing?
Well, I am sure he should be able to help out, babe.
As for Church, while it should not be about guilt, it should be a time to reflect on our faults as human beings. I think that too many people in today's society see emotional suffering and/or guilt as bad thing, when in many ways it can be a purifying experience. Too many people want a quick fix, and turn away from God if it means trying to give up bad habits and live a better life. It's a sad state of affairs in this world, and I think one that has led to a lot of finger pointing cos no one wants to be the blame for their own wrongs.

Re: How are you doing?
I think there are good types of guilt and bad types of guilt.
Good guilt helps keep us in line and helps us to make ourselves better.
Bad gulit keeps us back and eats us up often the guilt we get from thing we had no control over.
There are times to own up to things to move on and there are times to let them go to move on.
I will say some of my worst experiences have been some of my most formative.

Re: How are you doing?
For those not on the OBCF
EEEkkkk, I'm back. Don't read this if you get queezy.
That was by far the most horendous dentit experience I have ever had! :eyepop: :crap: :scared: :eyepop:
I apperently 1/4 my tooth had broken away and then as he's drilling, he keeps saying things like," umm... lots of decay, there's a big mushy spot,... oh there's another big pocket of decay.... humm, theres's still a little more."
Not what I want to be hearing, as my mouth is streached to the max, my neck at a weird angel, and he and the assistant have all these dental tools stuffed in my mouth and the back of my throat (it was the tooth all the way in the back) :eeeek:
I kept trying to think of all my favorite pics of Orlando and the necked (but tastefull) Legolas drawing I found the other day. As I tried to remember everthing my professional sword swallower ex had ever said about relaxing your throat and supressing your gag reflex, and it involving a lot of meditation type skills. :dead:
My mind even went to the gutter a few times. lol :toiletgrab:
So I now have a huge filling and the novacaine it still in effect so not really sure how it's going to feel, but the back of my throat is sore and feels brusied.
Thanks to all of you who wished me well!
