There's Something About Viggo (quotes from others about Viggo)
Many times other people say things about Viggo. That are interesting or funny.
Put those quotes in here.

Re: There's Something About Viggo (quotes from others about Viggo)
"He'll show up at your door barefoot. It's real with him - it's not an affectation. He is very much of the earth. He's relaxed and in the moment and he brings real emotions to the table. He's very human with great artistic sensibilities."

Re: There's Something About Viggo (quotes from others about Viggo)
Jane Campion, who directed The Portrait of a Lady, says Mortensen was shy at first. "Nicole [Kidman] and I had to beat him up. We called him Kiddie just to try and get him to treat us like pals. Of course, eventually we warmed him up so much we couldn't control him."

I didn't know he was in this I have to add it to my list.

Re: There's Something About Viggo (quotes from others about Viggo)
“Viggo was the perfect guy to play Aragorn. He's the perfect actor, if I can be as bold as to say that. In fact, I think he's pretty much the man.”
~ Orlando Bloom, Empire Magazine, January 2005
This was funny and cute too.

I liked that.
Everyone just adored Viggo, didn't they? I love hearing them talk about him on the DVD extras.

Re: There's Something About Viggo (quotes from others about Viggo)
Yes everyone does seem to love Viggo, here's another-
"Viggo Mortensen is an extraordinary person, [but] I suspect him to have a serious defect somewhere. This is just not possible, I never met someone who has no defect at all. He's got everything: he's kind, he's generous, he's tender, he's a pacifist, tolerant--I am also like that, I like tolerant people--and he helps everyone. He writes poems, he makes photos... That's extraordinary, he's handsome, he acts well... Then you say to yourself, it is NOT possible, such people don't exist. I didn't succeed in finding it, but there must be a defect, you can't be like that, perfect! (laughs)"

Re: There's Something About Viggo (quotes from others about Viggo)
Aidan Devine (Ed Harris' henchman in HoV):
“As far as A History of Violence is concerned, I couldn’t believe they were actually paying me to be on the same set with Ed Harris and Viggo Mortensen,” says Devine.
“They are such consummate actors you learn just by watching them, and they both have such incredible work ethics.”
Devine adds Mortensen is “also one of the nicest guys you’d ever want to meet. He’d bring doughnuts to the set and make sure you had your share, and he knew everybody’s name.”
