Re: Photographs by Deni aka Lady LaRouge OK I think I FINALLY HAVE THIS FIGURED OUT! I hope you will take time to look at these that I have long anticipated sharing.
I thought I had left too late
But my timing was perfect
I was just where I needed to be
when I needed to be there
Orgasm sunset
I hardly knew where to look
So stunning was the sky
Fuchsia and gunmetal clouds behind me
Molten golden orange, vivid pink and gray- blue- whites
before me
Slivers of intense light between the clouds
Strange reflections of color and light
Natures’ gift to me for what I thought was bad timing
Re: Photographs by Deni aka Lady LaRouge Oh man, Deni. Those pictures are BEAUTIFUL! I love the clouds, they are gorgeous.
As for the poem, I loved it!
quote:
I thought I had left too late
But my timing was perfect
I was just where I needed to be
when I needed to be there
Orgasm sunset
How perfectly well said! You have a way with words, my dear, and need to get published. This was so wonderful to read and I loved your pictures. Thanks for finally sharing them with us.
Re: Photographs by Deni aka Lady LaRouge Thank you Lauretta. I was so happy to finally get the technical stuff to work.
I was just such an amazingly awsome sky. I'm so glad I had the camera because wods alone could not express that. I was sureal in it's colors.
Re: Photographs by Deni aka Lady LaRouge I'll always think of these photos, Deni, as your "blue" period! LOL
It's fascinating to me that over 1,000 miles separate our parts of the country, but lately our Southwestern skies and sunsets look very similar to these! I hope you will continue to share your photography, and your writings. Your poem was so descriptive, and paired with the photos, it was easy to be in that moment with you. Thanks for posting both.
