THE WORD for August 15
Continue in Love
Let brotherly love continue. (Heb 13:1)

Have you ever felt upset at someone because they interrupted you when you were praying? We go from feeling religiously warm and fuzzy to sudden anger. "God, they messed up our alone time!!!"
If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. (1John 4:20)
Christian, may you and I grow to focus on Christ Jesus and not continue to be entangled in sin because sin does not allow brotherly love. Let brotherly love continue. Let's pray.
Lord Jesus, thank-you for your love and patience toward us. Help us to walk with patience in your love and to love others the way you love us. Amen.
Today's very great and precious promise
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. (1John 4:7)
We have God's Word on it.
