Do you want someone who stands the test in the midst of every temptation- someone you can trust? Me too. His name is Jesus.
Can you identify with my natural tendency to sin? Maybe someone hurt you. We both need someone we can trust and look up to- someone who loves us with the love we need.
Jesus knows our sin and pain personally. He took it on himself when he suffered and died on the cross. Jesus knows our need. Let's pray.
Lord Jesus, you have the love we need. Please continue to save us from our selfish ways. Help us to surrender all to you- to enter into your rest so we can love and comfort others with the comfort you give. Amen.
