Mine vs. God's
How do you know your thoughts?
How can you seperate your own will from God's? when choosing what action to take, it is not easy to differentiate your will from the Lord's sometimes. How are you supposed to recognise the correct path, the one He wants you to go on?

Re: Mine vs. God's
quoting it is not easy to differentiate your will from the Lord's sometimes.
Thats true, for myself i leaned on emotion in my early walk, when i got older i learned to not so much rely on emotion but reality.
verse 18 in Ephesians 5 says to "Don't get drunk on wine, Instead, be filled with the Spirit." That is the Holy Spirit. That is the Spirit of Jesus Christ. Now what does that mean to be filled with the Spirit? It means to allow God to pour into you everything that he wants to give you in the context of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. To be filled with the Holy Spirit means that you make it a point of your life to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in your life, not all of the myriad spirits of darkness that come to you and me disguised as angels of light, and want to lead us astray.
It means knowing Jesus Christ at more than secondhand. Knowing not just about God, but knowing God. To be filled with the Holy Spirit means that I open my life to the Spirit. Not just up to my waist, where it just appears like I am walking with Christ. Not just up to the neck, where my heart is usually in the right place; but up to the very top of my head, where my heart and mind and my entire being is being shaped toward the mind of Christ.
Most of the time its usually clear what God wants from you, as example he closes one door and opens another. Just be patient and stay at the center of his will. He will answer you in his time not ours. It is not always painless. It is not always easy. It doesn't always make us happy. It doesn't always seem logical ,But I'll tell you this, it is always fulfilling.
I hope i haven't confused you more, hopefully you will get various examples here, there are way smarter people here than me but i can give you some reality based on the Bible and personal experience.

Re: Mine vs. God's
Yeah, I think you covered it pretty well, Gary!
