looking for opinions
making a long story short,
my step sis is totaly into pagan symbolism, zodiacs. and for her birthday she got a new deck of tarot cards, which she adores and carries everywhere. I am in no way close to her, we say hi and that is as far as our conversation has ever been able to carry (I see her on my way to work, as she gets home from her job at 5 am)
Do you think I should say something/ what in the world could I possibly tell her? God is only a curse word in her vocabulary.
--- I will dance I will sing To be mad For my King Nothing Lord Is hindering This passion in my soul And I'll become Even more undignified than this Some may say It's foolishness But I'll become Even more undignified than this

Re: looking for opinions
One thing that comes to mind since you two don't speak, you could write her a nice letter of your concerns in her activities. Put a track in the envelope and sign off with love and a prayer. Do this every time you feel this heaviness about her.
If you can't put a track in the envelope, put a "few" scriptures at the bottom of the letter, well, you can do that anyway, track or not, hehe.
quoting
Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.
-Leviticus 19:31
And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
-2nd Kings 21:6
Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.
-Isaiah 47:13
Partaking in this sort of activity is a worship to satan. Any power not of God is evil. She may not fully understand her abomination to God, as many do not. She needs to hear the truth.
God bless.

Re: looking for opinions
Yes she does need to hear the truth, BUT (thats a big but).
The message must be delivered in love.
If it is done in a manner that stregthens her anger towards God, it could (and probably will) do more damage than if you had said nothing at all.
Be very careful about how you deliver the message.

Re: looking for opinions
I'd say start talking to her. Next time you see her, say, "Hey, I heard you got some tarot cards. What's up with that?"
She'll probably want to give you a reading. Politely tell her no, that you don't believe in it and that Scripture forbids you from it. Then follow up with another question to keep the conversation open.
"What do you believe happens after we die?"
Don't get too deep, too fast, just open up the topic, and let her talk about it. Then share your thoughts. Try to work gradually into deeper conversations on it.

Re: looking for opinions
quoting
she would most likely react negatively if you were to send her a tract or letter regarding this issue. This would push her even farther away from the Light.
Skys;... A little more clarity on my letter idea, hehe.... please note that I said, "nice" letter of concern. A letter is a friendly open door. Done in good taste, "nice" signed off with "love and a prayer" like I said, will in no way lead someone further away from the light.
Letting them know you are there to talk to if ever needed, an open door for them to make a choice. They will feel no pressure, a seed is planted for her to think on and God to work in her heart.
Put scripture, don't put scripture, put a track, don't put a track, write once, write often... praise the Lord! Hehe, either way, all ways, this is a blessed opportunity to share the truth. And as long as you follow your heart-the Holy Spirit, you'll do what's right at just the right time. Amen! There will be no damage, no pushing her away from the light, when the Holy Spirit is in charge.

Great advice

Again, great advice.
And (as I'm sure you know). You cannot win her over to Christ. All you can do is share the good news with her in a positive an loving manner. It is up to God to change her heart.

Thank you guys (and galls) ALL of you for the advice
Any scriptures I can borrow? (don't worry I am not going to attack anyone with them) I know a few but I was wondering if there were some I missed

Re: looking for opinions
Go HERE.
Right up near the top, there’s a white space beside a magnifying glass (right above where it says, “printer-friendly page”, that’s the keyword search. Type in “witch”, “magic”, “pagan”, “Satan”, “devil”, “demon” or whatever else you can think of that might be relevant.
Scroll through and see what you find. Don’t forget to read before and after the verse (there are links to do this), so that it isn’t taken out of context.
