Living Together-Is It Wrong? Im a Christian, I feel God knows my heart and I am living with my BF. Is that wrong? We have BOTH been married...we dont tend to be apart ever...we just want to live together. Its a sticky subject I know...also the reason we live together is so he can continue to draw his disability check because if we got married it could mess things up as far as income goes. What do you think????

Before I say anything can you do two things for me? The first is why were you divorced and why was your BF divorced? The second is could you read 1 Corinthians, chapter 7 and let us know what you think of that and if any of it would apply to you or your BF in your own opinion.
Re: Living Together-Is It Wrong? I hope we haven't offended you, or scared you away. This is a great topic! You may not always agree, but this will be a place where we will share the truth as revealed to us in the Bible.
The reason I asked what you base your assurance of salvation on is this:
The Bible tells us there will be those who come before Jesus at the end of time, thinking that they are saved, only to be told, "Away from Me. I never knew you."
I thought I was a Christian long before I ever actually was. There is a way that you can know for sure. It's in the Bible - the Book of 1 John gives you a series of tests for this specific purpose. It's a short Book, read through it. Then check out this post for some notes on it.

Re: Living Together-Is It Wrong? Very good question SweetPea.
And as Mel said, we don't mean to scare you away with the questions, but this can be a difficult question/situation to discuss.
Hope to hear back from you on this subject.
