my MOM

My mom went for a biopsy today. I know the DR says that it is most likely a calcium deposit (85% chance) but there is always that 15% that can scare you at times.

Say a prayer!

Everything went well with the procedure yesterday. The Dr thinks that the lumps were indeed just calcium.

So YAY!

Sadly I have to resend this news. My mom went back to the Dr for her results and yes the 15% chance turned into 100% chance of cancer.

They believe they have found it early but still a battle will ensue.

Update:

First of all, sorry it has been so long, for some reason I was unable to access Runboard for a while.

My mom's surgery went really well and they were able to remove all the cancer cells from her body. She will now start radiation treatments. They are very localized and hopefully will have few side effects.

She has a great outlook on the whole situation and has put her trust in God to help us through this trying time.
