Church
Guys I hope you don't mind but my church is in some serious need of prayer. While all of our churches in the south are growing our MN churches are shrinking and are starving. It is not the Pastors it is the people and they are tearing it apart!!! My church is kicking out our pastor and it is not right! He is ment to be here and most of us know that but the thing is that those in control of the money are pressing buttons. He doesn't preach the way they want, or about the things they want him to talk about. And that person who has all that money has been pushing their will for a long time. they have forgotten that we are not a buisness we are a ministry. Our church used to be packed full.. but everytime someone has turmoil in their life, or someone makes a big mistake that person goes and almost literally kicks them out of our church... we used to have full pews but now their are 12 members that come 12!!!!!!! and i am the only youth left. I don't think our church will last much longer... and i don't want that to happen. The members are too busy being ashamed at the low numbers but they wont invite anyone!! i don't remember a single new person in the past 5 years and it seems that one person quits comming every 2 weeks.
WE NEED GOD BACK IN OUR CHURCH, but they refuse to call on Him.
we need help...

Will be praying for your Church, Skys, that God will use this for the good of all that love Him. Maybe it is time to move, maybe it is time for a revival of some sort, but God is in control and His will be done.
I pray that His will in this matter be revealed to you and your Church, and that He will draw His people closer to Himself through this entire ordeal, no matter what happens.

I seriously had to stop think for a long time on this one, and it took me to realise that i can NOT stop going there. If half of the problem is everybody leaving, how would my leaving help any, esp when i am the only youth pretty much left. Once there is no youth, how can you get any back? if i were to leave it may be their doom. I am not going to be like everyone else and run away. I am going to stand firm and start bringing people, because apparently no one else will. No one else is stepping up, so I guess i have to. Maybe this is what we need. a new pastor, he is someone that i know of NO person who doesn't respect him. They might just listen to him. I don't care anymore, i just don't care if I am not able to do all the things i want to be doing, i don't care that i desperately wish i could just go into a bigger youth group. It is time to pull up and to MAKE a youth group and show them that people are still out there searching for the truth, they are just waiting for you to bring them in. I am terrified of making a fool of myself, but at this point, i dont care anymore... maybe making a fool of myself is just what i need.
Thank you guys, I know i probably am not displaying it here, but i have not had this much clairity in this issue for a long long time

Just don't be disappointed (with God) if it is not in His will for your church to continue.
