Is the globe really warming?
And if so, who cares? Certainly not Mr Spokesman of the most ridiculous theory since evolution. The bottom line is, we don't have enough data on global temperatures to actually determine if it's warming or if it's just part of a natural cycle.
Check out this link and decide if Al Gore is just a hypocrite trying to make a buck off of his book or if he really cares.

Global warming? What a joke. If his "globe" is warming, maybe it's just too close to his fireplace. Find a different shelf to put it on Al.

Kind of puts Al Gore under the harsh glaring light of "truth" doesn't it?
As for the evironmental global warming hysteria, it is just ridiculous. Any scientist worth their education will tell you that the planet is always in either a cooling or warming trend. They expect that our tempertures now are no warmer than they were in the middle ages just before the "little ice age". We are still warming up from that "little ice age".
That is not to say that we shouldn't be proactive in taking care of our planet, and reducing our pollution (both in the air and on the land). I just don't suscribe to using unfounded (and completely unproven) scientific scare tactics to bring society to heel.

I don't have time to watch the vid, but i don't think i actually have ever believed in global warming... wasn't there something about the terror of global cooling not to long ago?? I mean, even if there is I really don't think that we should worry about us bringing the destruction of the earth, cause... don't we already know how the world is going to end???
Oh yeah and a little thing I had to do a report on, (sorry i don't have the time to link you up to my sourses.. if you are interested let me know and i will look them up later...) but there is also a study saying that as the CO2 in the air, a leading contributer in global warming, increases so does the efficiency of plants to utilize this CO2, so really the environment is correcting a lot of the amissions (although the plants are doing so slowly, it is obvious to the scientists that it is actually hapening and they are blaming the adaption of the plants to why none of the predictions about global warming have come true.)
I don't know... but... if there really was global warming... why when i looked at the news this morning does it say we are going to essentially be in a blizzard from thursday afternoon till saterday... that sounds more like cooling then warming so who knows what is going on...

Hey Skys, it's not a video, it's just link to Snopes, explaining that an email that you've probably already seen, is actually true. Check it out when you have more time.
And there will be no global warming in MN, it will only get colder up there. 
Global warming will only affect the places that are already warm, and the places that are already cold will just get colder. So, I'm not even sure why they call it global warming in the first place. 
Bottom line is, they don't know, either!

Lol i read what i wrote... I could hardly remember writing that.. man I was tired.. I looked at the time... only 8:44 lol wow... I think i need to sleep in a little more at night lol.
I checked out the linlk, I had actually never gotten that one, actually I am surprised that i havent lol
Hey about MN its true!! it is soo cold, it has been snowing since about 3 and hasnt stopped accumilating since!!!!! (and it is going to keep going in snow storm conditions till sat night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

i rem. once growing up, i was young prob. 8 or 9, one Christmas we were all in short sleeve shirts, i wonder what they were saying 45 years ago, or what they called global warming back then hehe

Yeah actually I remember one year.. what maybe 7 or so years ago I got brand new rollar blades for my birthday and I went rollar blading!! see now that just sounds normal till you find out that i live in MN and my birthday is in the middle of DECEMBER! lol ...
