I actually like the hell out of them. I mean, they aren't anything all that different, but they can ****ing play. They're fast as **** and technical. They're heavily into Egyptian stuff and everything they do revolves around it. A very brutal band tho with some awesome drumming and guitar work. I like 'em.

Yeah, I understand what you're saying. Relapse promoted the **** out of them. They had a huge buzz in the underground for ages. They're a hardworking band tho and toured constantly and took advantage of every opportunity to get where they are. I've read a lot of interviews with them and they've had some rough times, definitely paid their dues. I guess they deserve what they've achieved in that respect. It's not easy to maintain a job, life, and band all at the same time but they managed. Some people just give up and quit. WOOOOOOOO DEAN!!! hahaha!! Chew on that for awhile, lol.  Just messin' about of course. I couldn't resist.

If any band deserves respect for paying their dues and stuff like that its got to be Macabre! They have been going since 1985 with the same line up and they havent sucked in to any trends... so why aint Macabre as big as Nile? I also think Macabre are better musicians, Dennis the Menace is a ****ing awesome drummer.

Hell yeah, MACABRE!! ****ing awesome musicians. Relapse never pushed them as much as a lot of their bands for some reason. I think MACABRE is just a lot harder for some people to get into. They're cheesy serial killer lyrics and oddball sense of humour just isn't as appealing to most death metal fans. I think a lot of people just take them for a joke, moreso than realizing how good they really are. Hmmm, got me thinking about them now. Gonna have to drag out my "Sinister Slaughter" cd.

Yeh **** hot band, listening to em now actually, ****ing crazy! I quite like Nile without doubt very talented and i like there overall sound, supposed to be **** hot live too which is always a good sign of a class act.

..love death metal...i really like Nile i've collected some ov their albums and enjoy them HEAPS..i can listen to them any time or when i'm in the mood to 'nile-it'..listening to In The Beginning.Godless.atm. .p.s.they have some gOoD soundz. .x.
