 Why I respect Hecate Enthroned
Unlike other keyboard-based Black Metal bands, Hecate Enthroned gets my respect since they continue to do what they want to do. They don't force themselves into creating albums for the herd to enjoy (see the new Deanified Hecate Enthroned ONLY), they create albums to their liking, not conforming to anything. Ha! Keyboards intermixed with Blackend Death? Who would have thought?

Ummmmm......keyboards in black/death metal is nothing new. There's droves of bands that do that. GOD DETHRONED, GRIEF OF EMERALD, MACTATUS, and on and on and on. I think HECATE ENTHRONED do it best tho.

Cheers. I think it comes from enjoying the brutal in your face blast element of metal and the big epic side, we enjoy playing both so we try to combine them. We like to have the best of both worlds. haha.
