IMMORTAL call it quits
IMMORTAL have decided to split up. No details about the decision have been disclosed yet. The band simply said, "After seven albums, we have decided to stop working with IMMORTAL. Thanks to everyone who helped make IMMORTAL a superb musical project over the years."
That's all I know about the situation at the moment. It has just happened in the last couple days or so, but I'm sure more details will be available very soon as all the journalists bombard the band with questions. It's certainly a major loss for the scene, but hell, they left us with some geat ****ing albums for sure.

I wonder why a band of their stature would just end a career that was growing into such a lucrative business venture. Wait, maybe that is the answer! Maybe not. All I can say is that I respect their decision to call it quits even if I don't think it is a good idea.

 Good News! I just saw on the Nuclear Blast website that Immortal in fact did not break up. The article states that they are just going to take a well deserved break after all the touring they have been doing lately (Metal Gods Tour). It also states that each of them are going to do their own side projects in the mean time. You all know what "Immortal" means! If you want to read the article just take the link--> Immortal News
