Damn, what a difficult poll!! I love all Hecate Enthroned, so I can't really choose an all-time favorite. For me, each album has it's special qualities and it really just comes down to what mood I'm in when choosing which one to listen to. Each album has special meaning to me in certain ways. There's not nearly enough room here to truly describe and and dissect what I love about each one, so I'll just leave it at that.

Hmm, i love the slightly more gothic poeticy side of the first three albums, but the new newest are great with the change in style and way more brutal!

fav track at the mo is: Beneath a December Twilight emoticon

I've only heard the entirety of Slaughter and Unscriptured Waters, and i like Slaughter better. Although i am ordering Dark Requiems tomorrow.

Dark Reqiuems is a great cd..although i can't help feeling that it sounds as if jon is screaming the lyrics from across the studio as the quality of the vocals aint as good as on kings! emoticon

spose that just shows the better quality you get when a better vocalist is used!!!!!!!!!!! lol lol lol lol emoticon

Nope i hope he does...vocalists need praise for their screaming !!!! i was saying that jons vocals weren't that good quality..and that kings vocals were much better. As i also said albums are better (kings) when better vocalists are used ie. dean!!!

prasing dean- i woz!!! lol lol lol lol lol lol lol

that would be my choice too, I think the Miasma EP is lacking a little in the production (in my home and car stereo the guitars sound very low for a reason and the synths are louder than I would like), but I think all 5 albums are great, each having it's own diversity and unique atmosphere. My fav tracks of all time would be.. Within the Ruins of eden, Beneath a December Twilight, and I am Born pt.I [in no particular order] emoticon
