im so sorry for saying this but i must..
this review is completely a bull****.yes, may be it's similar to cradle of filth a little, but the absolute truth, is the true melodic black metal sound in this album.."upon promethean.." will be always a "big" album for me..

You know, as I have said before, I was once a pretty big Hecate Enthroned fan, but Redimus is just another re-hash of old ideas, in a genre that has already been pushed beyond its limits. Much as Graveworm faltered with Engraved in Black, Redimus is a textbook romp through overproduced death metal riffs played with black metal flair. I can give credit for sticking to their Vempire-era CoF sound, but it is just boring. Not to say that this is not a good record, because it is, Hecate Enthroned is a professional, well worn band of excellent musicians; but this genre bores me, and I am sorry that I have to slag a band that I once really enjoyed for playing it. As a whole Redimus is a bit too stagnant for me, but I know fans of this style will eat this up, I just recommend any of their releases prior to Kings of Chaos if you want Hecate Enthroned done right.
Who the **** is he? I want to teach him a few things..........
