I think you have to be careful when writing the "attitude" bit. You can't be too stereotypical or you'll get an angry mob of Hors chasing you across Victoria Park 
I remember when the teachers at my school did a "Nu-Grave" assembly. It stuck, and I have been plagued ever since.

Examples of bands... you'd want The Horrors, Neils Children, Ipso Facto. Or KASMs.

Oooo thanks for the bands, I already had Neils Children, but thanks for the others!
Yeah, I'm afriad, I didn't call it that tho, it was the people at this Media thing.
So, I've been trying to get my piece finished (it's got to be done today), and while I'm looking around for answers, does anyone have any answers you can give me?
If anyone has any answers to these questions?
What fabrics do The Horrors (and the other same clothing bands) wear?
What kind of people wear this style?
What kind of attitude do they have?
What accessories do you wear in the style?

if i were you, i'd get rid of the attitude question, or try and avoid it, because it's a bit of a ridiculous thing to put in the brief. Either that, or talk about style influences, such as 60s garage and freakbeat artists, labels etc.
with regards to fabrics, i'd say a lot of denim, silk and cotton shirts, wool (josh's hood) and leather boots
accessories will include belts, scarfs and cravats, broaches/antique pins, sunglasses etc. also, I've seen pictures of faris carrying a doctor bag

I agree, this assignment just sounds weird! This is an opportunity but they really seem to limit your freedom, which I think is pretty lame of your teachers. They've found the questions the Horrors could really be sick of.

MAN, you get to go interview bands and stuff for year 9 at school? I'm doing Digital Media and I'm in year 10 (this is Australia, but), and all we've done all year is take photos.
Also, with the question about why they smeared black paint on the crowd, I'm not 100%, but I think I read in an interview with Faris somewhere that they brought black paint with them to shows coz when they used to play little local shows, there'd be sorta slutty chicks at the clubs, and they'd get paint all over them to piss 'em off. I don't know if I actually read it or just imagined it but.
