Hi all, I wrote the review. I was merely basing my position upon what I've heard of the Horrors up to now. The review was focused upon the single itself. I'd like to clarify a few things here.
The quote about faceless models was actually referring to other bands and not the Horrors. My point was that their image(gothic/punk) is initially striking in the current lack of image climate(and my examples would be bands like keane, razorlight the automatic ect).So it was meant as a positive reason why they have received alot of press at this early stage.
The rest of the review was a overview of my opinions upon the new single, yes some of it was a bit tongue in cheek but it was my honest appraisal of the new single from my point of view. Compared to some of the other stuff I've heard from the Horrors and some of the press I read, I found it a bit insubstantial. I'm fully aware that the EMBD are still around ending with that line, was more about how they never achieved the levels of attention that the Horrors have achieved at this early stage, despite the fact that they released two very good albums.
Despite the review I actually like the idea of the Horrors as a band, more than the actual output they've produced so far of the stuff I've heard, I preferred "Sheena" of the two singles.
I am perfectly open to changing my mind if and when I hear more tracks by the band, the review was partly a comment upon the hype surrounding the band and how in my mind they haven't lived up to it yet. But hey its a review, it would be boring if everyone thought the same, we can agree to differ. Good day.

thanks for clearing those things, up and i thought the review was good, as you didn't personally attack them like so many other reviewers/presenters have.
