Hello, my name is Grant McAlister. I write most of the scripts used in creating Hunky Dory. I also enjoy horseback riding, watermelon farming, and the occasional pina colada.
My favorite author is John Grisham. My favorite film is Pride and Predjudice. And my favorite musical artist is a tie between Enya and Dido.

I be DiB. God knows where and how long ago I started talking to Drew online, but somehow we follow each other everywhere. It'd be creepy and stalkerish except for how mutual it seems to be. Anyway, I'm surprised how good the comic is, I'm not supposed to know anyone who's genuinely funny, so kudos to that.
So, honestly... am I the only reader?

And no, you're not the only reader...this is just, um, not exactly the fastest growing message board of all time.

I finally took the time to sign up on the message board but hey I think I beat Allan so that is kind of cool, well not really.

sometimes....when I am downwind from Allan. I get the faintest whiff of old man and schnapps. butterscotch schnapps.
Are these farts?
Is he actually a really old man masquerading as an irresponsible youth in order to garner precious information about youngsters?
Or does he simply hang out with old people and drink butterscotch schnapps?
I don't know the answer, but no matter what it is important and vital to remember that he is an idiot.

Funny story in relation to butterscotch schnapps that has absolutely nothing to do with Allan and yes I know I have told most of you that read this board this story but hey I am bored so I am retelling it. A long time ago, a good ten or so years I was in Georgia hanging out with my brother and one of his best friends . We were at the friends house and his mother was quite irresponsible. Anyhow she left us alone all night with a full liquor cabinet and a couple packs of Cherry flavored Swisher Sweets. Early in the evening I poured myself a rather large cup of Coke, I would say at least a good thirty-two ounces. As the night went on and my cup of Coke emptied my brother offered to give me a refill. I noticed a slightly odd taste to the Coke but thought nothing of it since I was a fan of Worther's Original. After half the cup was gone I began feeling really good and figured I should ask what it was that he had placed within my cup. He turned around to the cabinet, turned back, and then showed me the near empty bottle of butterscotch schnapps. I have poured all my own drinks since then.

Yeah Yeah lets all berate Allan because he is slower then a sloth. Anyways I finally made it on to the message boards so I suppose its time for the second round of being verbally accosted. Oh and I can't help it if I love butterscotch and other assorted old man treats. They tickle my fancy if you will...

well, i've never been on a message board, I'm rather frightened by all those smilies....and the apparent html code buttons. But i'll give this my best shot. I'm Kalyn, Grant's sister and current roommate. And, Justin, did you start pouring all your own drinks afterwards to ensure that they always had a bit of the butterscotch snaps? OH and, boys, if you want this message board's members to proliferate....you should post a link to the message board on the top of the home page rather than forcing people to root through the archives until they find it. Also, I would enjoy a new comic right about now. Preferrably with added comments by the writer and cartoonist below.
