Sandman
As a brand spanking new fan of Neil Gaiman I decided it was time to read some Sandman...ends up that was a pretty terrific idea. I didn't realize at the time that it was set in the DC Universe. Imagine my surprise when 4 comics in John Constantine and Etrigan have already made appearances. Needless to say the cameos are just icing. I am loving it just as much as any of his books and can't wait to get farther in.
Question for those who have read it. Would you say the story gets better as it goes on? I kind of hate reading a comic that slowly dies as it gets older. I am hoping Sandman isn't one of those.

I have read through the first four volumes of Sandman and yes, it gets much better. Volumes two and three are incredible. You're going to love it.
