Trade your chassis build for my fiberglass bodywork?
Hello all,
I'm Jeff from GoblinMotors.com and PoolRock.com. Both of my companies feature fiberglass products that I have designed and manufacture.
My most pertinent work can be seen on the Goblin website. I have built and raced human powered vehicles with streamlined fairings since 1996. The fairing and bike that I constructed for the World Human Powered Human Speed Championships can be seen here:

Scroll to bottom.
If you scroll down, you'll see a fairing design that I have done that is close to fitting a IndyCycle design already.
I specialize in fairings that have laminar aerodynamics, meaning that they are far more efficient at cutting through the air than standard 'teardrop' shapes. This is quite important when a human powered vehicle only generates about 1/2 horsepower!
My latest racing fairing can be seen here:

If anyone is interested in the possibility of trading, let me know. I have skills with brazing and chromoly to build bicycle frames, but I am quite busy with my composites companies. If a talented welder/fabricator is interested in fabbing a IndyCycle style chassis for me, in exchange for a matching fiberglass body from me, together we can accomplish a superior vehicle.
I would want from you a complete chassis with front suspension, and chassis to behind the seat. I will supply my own seat and motorcycle power train. I will supply to you a professionally sculpted fiberglass body, designed specifically to fit the chassis that you fab. I will make a mold and pull a lightweight part from the mold to send to you that will fit your chassis. If folks like our collaboration, perhaps we can each sell our parts to other interested parties and pay for our own hobby.
Interested? Let me know.
Jeff
