Presto's mum?
Well, considering that Presto is the nerd of the group (not that there is anything wrong with that) I'm going to to go with the whole Simpsons' Millhouse rule and guess that Presto's mom looks a lot like him.
Nerds tend to look like their moms. Don't ask me why.

I now I've already replied in the town square, but what the hell... scanners dead, trying to resuscitate, attempting to have comic out in time for America's morning wake-up period, or thereabouts. If unable, will run around screaming, 'I am useless', 'I am a fool', 'til I bang head on some foreign object!

Maybe they got a scanner at a local library. I've done that. Just a thought if you're desperate.

Well, I banged my head, got the bruse to prove it 
I could use the scanner at the library, but it's only a 100dpi scanner(compared to my 1250dpi, but it's dead, grrr), plus it costs 15p per scan, well, let's just say that'd cost me well over the £10 mark, which I don't have, 'til next week when I get my benefit money, arrrrgggghhhhhh. I'm just wondering what can happen next.
Anywayz, keep an eye on the main page of my site for the news, you'll see a big splash when I manage to get the issue up!(or I shall cut off my wickle finger)
