Pray for VBS this week. It always makes me nervous when little kids raise their hands to ask Jesus into their hearts because I'm afraid they don't really understand what they are doing, but how many of us got saved as little kids? Even if they don't know what they are getting into, God does.
I have two very personal reasons that I want VBS to be expecially influential and meaningful this year. If you'll slip Tori and Craig into your prayers I'd be grateful.

I'd be a lot more concerned about the kids breaking something, because I was a leader not too long ago. I'll never do that again. One of the kids wouldn't leave me alone, and she kept hanging on me. How come little kids always do that to guys? I've never seen that happen much to girls.
But yes, I will pray for you guys, as well as OUR VBS. Pray for me. I got pressured into doing those skits.

PRAISES
As most of you know, a beautiful baby boy was referred to us this week. His name is Seth Gerson.
Please pray, we still have a lot of hurdles to get through before Seth comes home. Also keep him and his foster family in prayer.
Please remember his birth Mommy also. She has made a huge sacrifice. Pray Gods peace and comfort will be with her.

I'm praying for VBS too. Praise God for all you who are a part of it this year!! It blows my mind to think that God is using you to help change someones eternal destiny!!! I am certain that there will be some lives changed just because you were obedient to God, and wanted to join Him in His work! You guys make me proud!!!

On another note, this is kind of strange. Our Aunt Donna has a lot of problems, such as asthma and her frequent falling down stairs and arm, back, neck, everything injuries. She's been staying at our grandma's house, and it's REALLY just a pain to her. She NEVER goes home, she can't clean her own house due to the doctor's orders, but she basically takes advantage of our grandma's hospitality in every way she can. So finally, our grandma said that's enough, it's time to leave. She basically wants freedom to be able to do what she wants, and Donna's dog is annoying personified. Always barking and whatnot. So finally, Donna gets ready to leave, and wouldn't you know it... she hurts her back. They had to call an ambulance and everything to come get her and when she got released she went BACK to our grandma's house.
So basically, this is a prayer for BOTH. I feel sorry for Donna, but I also feel sorry for our grandma. Especially after our grandpa just dying, it's got to be frustrating and hard.
I hope I didn't chew anyone's ear off, but the story had to be told in entirety.

Tori prayed and asked Jesus into her heart last night. (AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!) I'm excited and terrified, both at the same time. I talked to her about it, so I think she understands it all. Anyway, pray for her!
