Re: The (semi) Official Prayer/Praise list
*Praises*
My sisters CAT scan came back negative, and my niece and her baby (Shay)are both doing well. The baby should come home this week.
My sister (Karen)still needs prayer though, now her treatments had to be halted due to a low platelet count. Her Dr. thinks the chemo may be damaging her bone marrow (not good).
Thanks for keeping her in prayer.

Re: The (semi) Official Prayer/Praise list
so, for the last month, a bone in my right hand has been broken. I didnt really know it was broken though until yesterday when I saw my doctor about it. I now have a splint on my hand and i cant play tennis. This bothers me beacause i had just gotten the first singles spot on the JV team and i just won my first match as first singles. Now i have to sit on the sidelines for the rest of the season. Please pray for me though, that my hand heals quickly and ican go back to being active.

Re: The (semi) Official Prayer/Praise list
Not that this is a surprise to anybody, but I applied for a youth director/worship leader at Chapel Hill Church of God and it's looking likely that I'll get it. That's an understatement, I think it will take an act of God to make me not get this job. So I'm starting July 1st and so I'm leaving Idaville. So.. pray for me please. I'm a little worried.

Re: The (semi) Official Prayer/Praise list
hey guys. I just wanted to ask for prayer for Westtown because we've had a lot going on this week. During the week, 4 different students were expelled. Most of them obviously got what they deserved, but there is one where everyone thinks that his punishment wasn't fair. There has been a lot of frustration and argument about it. He was a great guy who was actually an active Christian and who was a member of my club. I ask that you all just pray for him and the rest of the students that they can find some reason and hope in the situation and that they can do well wherever they go.
Also, on a more depressing note, on Wednesday, Johanna Justin-Jinnich, who graduated from Westtown in 2006, was shot and killed while buying books at the bookstore near Wesleyan College, where she was a junior. This has been especially saddening over that last couple days, so I ask that you pray for the whole community, especially her family. I knew her sister, who graduated last year, but I didn't know her. It can't be easy losing a sister, especially one whom you love as much as she loved Johanna. So please pray for her.
Also, my grandfather is in bad health again. I was told the other day that he is bleeding internally, so he's still having problems. Please pray for him and his health. thanks.

Our great-nephew Kain was just diagnosed with Stage 2 Melanoma. He is 10 years old. Please keep him and his family in prayer.
Thanks,
Pam

Re: The (semi) Official Prayer/Praise list
I have a big praise/prayer. As some of you know, I have been really interested in Pastor Larry Walters and his work in Kentucky, so much so that I decided that I'm going to do my senior project down there with him. Recently, however, it has seemed that I'm meant to be down there sooner. A couple of weeks ago, Lisa from the Indiana group that was with us in Kentucky, sent me a message on facebook. Lisa told me in this message that she was leading their group and that they were going down to Kentucky again. She also told me that two people from her group pulled out at the last minute (one of which was felecia *tear*). Because of this, she was offering the spots to Jack Hein from Connecticut and I. Of course, I was excited, but there were a lot of issues I knew I would have to work out. The first was money. As I'm sure many of you know by now, my dad was layed off from his job in May, so we don't have the money to just go on trips to other states. I prayed about that and after about a week, I was talking to Lisa and she said that Jack wasn't able to go, so there were two spots open. Because there were two open spots and both of those people had already paid half of the cost, I could go for free. That was a big load off my shoulders. But then, there was the issue of transportation. I'm in PA, and they're in Indiana. That's not a very short distance. My choices were to either have my dad take me, which he said he would, or take a bus, both of which would cost money. So, obviously this was something to pray about too. Well, sure enough, a couple of days ago, Lisa sent me another message saying that a man had felt so moved when she told him about my situation that he felt led to drive all the way to PA to pick me up. She said that he was going to take his son to Hershey for a vacation, and since Hershey is 45 minutes from my house, it won't be much of a problem for him to come pick me up.
This just seems like one of those times when God is really leading me. He's putting everything into motion. I've barely done anything and it's working. The price is paid for me, I have a free ride there and back, and I have a great group that's been helping me the whole way.
I know this is a long post, but that was the praise. Now I'd like to ask that you guys pray for me that everything goes well in planning and executing the trip. The trip is August 1-7, so it's pretty soon. Please pray that everything keeps going smoothly. Thanks.

That is amazing! Stories of "coincidence" never cease to amaze me. God is certainly good.
