Re: CREATION

I told all you newcomers Bob Lenz was incredible. I bet you underestimated him. He was excellent this year, and had a great message.

I also think this year was the first time in a long time I've become absorbed totally in worship to the point where I forget everyone's around me. It happened twice, to be honest.

I knew that Bob Lenz was awesome, but he was the best I've ever seen him this year. And Ron Luce was really good, too. I think that the speakers were a real highlight for me this year. even above a lot of the bands.

All the newcomers doubted me. Or at least didn't seem to buy it immediately.

Of course, I made a fool of myself saying Justin Lookado was a guy-hater, because he changed messages. I'll have you know, though, he did his "datable" message on the fringe state, which is the sexist, rude, ignorant and completely out-of-line message he usually does. Buy the tape and you'll get angry, I bet.

What didn't you agree on? Just curious, cuz I didn't notice anything huge.

Re: CREATION

Not to say something off-the-wall and strange here, but I disagree with the guy who said girls wouldn't understand "the wall" in a public restroom. Seriously! Like everybody doesn't know there are these things called urinals in bathrooms? Has he never been in a single-sex bathroom?

That was random, but it irked me. Yeah, that was kind of pointless. Oh well.

I didn't agree with Justin Lookado. Mainly because he offends me even if he doesn't try, he has a bad reputation, and he didn't seem coherent at all. I still can't figure out what his message title had to do with his message. I think he gets up there and improvises everything with the attention span of Sarah when somebody brings out a shiny object. His off-the-wall randomness just bugged me. I like speakers to be organized, have good illustrations, (though I admit the 20 dollar bill thing was ingenious) and be witty. I guess overall he just tried too hard to be zany and funny, and not enough to get his point across.

(This is all constructive criticism. *cough*)

He's not deserving of the classic Animaniacs title zany.

I wish I would have heard Justin Lookadoos "guy-bashing" message. It seems to have hit a nerve with the young men in the group. emoticon

I had figured you'd already heard it. He's used it every other year I've heard him.

Struck a nerve is an understatement. There are debates on news stations that are about more trivial insults than what he does on a regular basis.
