DwtS committed an unforgivable sin in my eyes by being on in the 8PM Tuesday time slot last year.

It's also an over-hyped show. It's almost as evil as American Idol. A show is evil when there's a whole section in the paper dedicated to it and discussing it. They don't discuss anything important in the paper! The few things important that they report on are tinged with far-left liberal Bush-bashing. (Yeah. The Patriot is like that.)

That's just what I want! To have my reputation smeared by them.

I like the Patriot better than my hometown paper. And I don't mind the American Idol parts, although I could stand a little something else...*hinthint*

Go read the business section, or the obituaries.

They're both important.

The Patriot isn't nearly as bad as you make it out to be. Pretty much every paper in existence uses The AP and Rueters, so they're the ones you should blame. The op-ed page is just that, opinions and editorials.

The only thing that really annoys the crap out of me is that you can get barely any news that doesn't directly involve the United States from any American news source, such as The Patriot, NBC News, FOX News, etc.

The only chance you have is to get BBC or look at the Current Events page in wikipedia.

Examples, all from the March 24th Wikipedia current events page:

1. The Pakastani national cricket coach was murdered at the Cricket World Cup.

2. Over 100 coal miners were killed in a mining accident in Russia.

3. The People's Republic of China passed it's first law regulating property ownership.

4. A opposition leader in Zimbabwe was detained and beaten, causing massive protests.

5. There's a massive protest going on in Taiwan to force the president to resign.

6. There's a serial killer on the loose in Eastern England

7. There's insurgencies in Yemen, The Philippines, and Thailand, Russia is at war with Chechnya, and civil wars are going on in The Ivory Coast and Sri Lanka.

8. Elections have happened in Northern Ireland and Finland, and Australia, and elections are about to happen in Hong Kong, Quebec, and Egypt.

How many of those have you heard about?

To be completely honest, about two, but the other ones are obscure.

Not only are the editorials bad, but it's all misinformation. Consider this:

A poll in the Patriot said that 100% of people in Iraq (which instantly makes this false. 100%? Come on.) said they don't feel safe. The poll, ironically, was done by NBC and CNN, I believe, the most biased and Secular Progressive media companies ever. (NBC just recently becoming that way due to dropping viewers. They lost about 80% of them after doing it, too.) The other results on the poll were equally as made up. It said about 52% of Iraqies think violence against U.S. troops is acceptable. If that were true, there'd be no U.S. troops because they'd all be dead. You can also bet they didn't have any positive "results" from the poll. They have a choice to report these things or not. It's nobody's fault but theirs.
