Lodge Ailsa history group
Dear brethren, This group will research into lodge history to establish why lodge Ailsa works the MacBride ritual and in so doing, communicate with other MacBride Lodges. Also this group will liase with other research Lodges to further the understanding of Freemasonry related to lodge Ailsa and issue relevant documents for publication. it will also disseminate any historical works of interest to the lodge members ( possibly in the form of an annual publication) This would be an on-going effort being reviewed every three months.

Re: Lodge Ailsa history group
Brethren,
I have recieved various documents from a grandson of our founding member and PM, WBro John Beveridge in Scotand.
I will bring them to the next Lodge Working and eventually scan them and place them on the WebPage for all to access.
This solves part of the riddle - when did Lodge Ailsa start to use to MacBride Ritual
Fraternally

Re: Lodge Ailsa history group
OOps...
Looks like the photo I received from Glasgow is not of the front of Coleman Street.
It must be a different Lodge (maybe Kinta in Ipoh or Scotia in Penang)
The plot thickens...
