copy & paste vignettes?

I understand how you can copy & paste grades from one shot to another via the 5 memory banks. Any idea why this doesn't work for vignettes as well? - I'm just left with a white ellipse, i.e. the shape of my vignette which doesn't show the shot through it - even when rendered out. I suspect its something obvious but can't see reference to it in the manual.

Re: copy & paste vignettes?

Hi there,

I did some experiments and digging for you.

The short answer such er is that you unfortunately can't copy and paste a vignette...*however* you can save the secondary as a .scc file.

It will save the vignette and the secondary which is closer to what you need than saving to one of the five memory banks (which would save your entire grade).

With your secondary room open look for the save option on the right hand side of the screen.

I'm sure we'll see a save vignette option in the near future of Color - seems like it would make a lot of sense!

Hope this has been helpful for you - please let us know emoticon
