FCP Editor


Soho Editors are looking for a talented Final Cut Pro Editor on behalf of a production company based in North West London, to edit on-air promos and off-air sales tapes. The editor will work individually and with high profile channel clients.
 
The job is part time – 20 hrs a week – (approx 4 hours a day)
 
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience editing on Final Cut Pro. He or she should have strong knowledge of working with VTs, graphics packages that use alpha channels as well as compositing and working with mattes. The successful candidate must have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills and an ability to be collaborative within a fast paced, deadline driven environment and be a perfectionist about the quality of his or her work. He or she must be able to prioritise requests, multi-task, be a self-starter and take direction.
 
The following skills would be advantageous:
 
  - After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, 3D animation, DVD authoring
  - Hindi Speaker
  - Knowledge of Avid Media Composer
  - Detailed VT knowledge and technically competent
 
 
Salary circa £12.5k depending on experience.
