Sony Computer Entertainment Europe currently require a highly motivated & enthusiastic Video Editor to join video production team, processing & editing video content for a prestigious & well-established music video franchise on both PlayStation®2 and PlayStation®3.
Candidates should have an excellent understanding of broadcast standards and technology, be methodical, adaptable and extremely well organised.
This is not a creative editing role & edits require fast turn-around times. We are particularly looking for someone with good eye for maintaining narrative and ability to deal with inappropriate content in the most successful manner. This role would be most suitable for candidates with experience such as newsrooms or online dealing with video compressions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Processing of videos, following an established workflow
Editing of videos
Identifying problematic issues within videos and working accordingly
Liaising with Audio and Associate Producer on editing issues
Liaising with Video Team Lead on editing issues & to ensure approval is sought where necessary
Tracking approvals for videos
KEY SKILLS
Candidates should be fluent in Final Cut Pro, Photoshop and Compressor.

Apple Quicktime Pro
Apple Compressor
Adobe Photoshop CS2
