Sony Computer Entertainment Europe currently require a highly motivated & enthusiastic Lead Video Editor to join Art & Video production team, overseeing small team of video editors processing & editing video content for a prestigious & well-established music video franchise on both PlayStation®2 and PlayStation®3.
Candidates should have an excellent understanding of broadcast standards and technology, be methodical, adaptable and extremely well organised.
This is predominantly a team lead role, overseeing the production of videos, distributing work to team members, approving edits. However there will be a need for the successful candidate to edit and process in-game content. This is not a creative editing role & edits require fast turn-around times. We are particularly looking for someone with good eye for maintaining narrative and ability to deal with inappropriate content in the most successful manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Processing of videos, following an established workflow
Editing of videos
Identifying problematic issues within videos and working accordingly
Liaising with Audio and Associate Producer on editing issues
Supporting Video Team on editing issues & to ensure technical and creative standards are met.
Tracking approvals for videos
KEY SKILLS
Candidates should have experience of managing or leading small teams and be fluent in Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Compressor. Also should have an excellent understanding of video standards and formats.
