Thanks. It's true, though. That's where I am at this point in my life. I'm done being impressed by gizmos or worse, a gizmo that is available in a new color. I also take in electronic media in very small doses and at mostly the times of my chosing. I swear it's like being alive for the first time in my life. I wish everyone would try it for two weeks.

Say, has anyone read Dan Brown's new book? Crap...he stinks. He's the ancient mystery mystery's Stephanie Myers. "I can't write but I make millions" and people (Ron Howard) make crappy movies from my stupid books.

I ended up getting through...almost...the entire book. By the time I reached the end, I couldn't care less about the story or the characters, so I stopped with 5 (or so) pages left. What a colossal waste of my time!

That's a great way to put it. I was thinking about reading him when I saw a show with one of my historical heroes taking apart the whole thing. I didn't bother to read his first book because it was so badly researched. I hate stuff like that. I hated it especially because his badly researched book caused so many people to just believe that bunk about Jesus. It really pissed me off.

I know, I know...I love that when Stellan Skarsgard was interviewed for his role in Angels and Demons, he came right out and said Dan Brown is a terrible writer. Here's a bit of it...

"I think Dan Brown is a terribly bad writer, but he has cliffhangers after every chapter which make you continue reading," Skarsgard told Swedish broadcaster SVT.
